Words from the Chair... Some staff have reported billing mix-ups and denials of claims due to clerical errors at United Health Care. I personally find that contacting my provider and UHC immediately when I see problems is much better than putting them off. I don't know if the problems are truly fixed, but at least I feel like I've done something. Don't forget to call the Benefits Office if you have any ongoing questions or concerns. Feel free to send us your concerns about all things related to UM-System. You may e-mail us directly, use our on-line form or send any member notes in campus mail. Editor's Corner! Staff Advisory
Council meetings are open to all UM System Staff. Meeting times are 9:00am-11:00am
the second Wednesday of the month. The locations are posted on our website
on the "Events Calendar." Our website is by now familiar to everyone, I
hope, but we add things all the time, so give it a look again. We have pictures
of the Staff Appreciation Week Events on the web site now! To see additional
pictures, click on the refresh button on the toolbar and the picture will
change. If you have any questions about the Newsletter or the Staff Advisory
