or questions about any subject related to UM System staff, please contact
one of your Council members. They are there for you!

Summer Greetings!


July brings to mind all the fun summer events that we enjoy…..swimming, baseball, backyard BBQ’s, travel, long summer evening walks, gardening, kid’s activities, and lots of daylight hours.  July is also the time of the year that SAC conducts its annual election.  This year, the UM SAC Election Committee is seeking nominations for three vacant positions.  One position is in the administrative/professional category, which is for a three-year term.  Two positions are in the service/support category, both of which are for three-year terms.  If you know of someone who would like to be a part of the SAC, please consider nominating that person.  If you are interested in being a part of SAC, self-nominations are always welcome.  YOU can make a difference!  Please submit nominations by July 31, 2008 deadline.

Our next scheduled meeting is Friday, August 8, 2008. Please call me for meeting time and location. As always, we welcome your comments, questions, and suggestions.  We are here for YOU!

Staff Advisory Council meetings are open to all UM System Staff. Meeting times are 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. the second Friday of the month. The location of each meeting changes, so contact a council
member if you are interested in attending.
