Greetings!

Plans for a trivia event in September are underway!! Stay tuned for details as they become available. This is a very popular event which was truly missed as part of the Staff Recognition activities so we are glad to be able to offer it once again.

We will be taking nominations for new members for the Council until the end of July. Please consider submitting your name for nomination….or talk to a colleague you think would make a good addition to the Council. We are looking for others who are willing to be involved and have new ideas to add. If you have questions please feel free to contact me or any of the Council members for assistance.

As always, your Council wants to hear from you. Let us know how we can best represent you!.

    Second Annual "Taste of the Market" Event

    August 1, 2009

    Columbia Farmer's Market is hosting the second annual "Taste of the Market" Event this Saturday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.$5.00 entry fee, Children 12 and under are free. There will be live music, wine sampling, entertainment for the children and an outdoor, big screen movie. Proceeds from the event benefit the Columbia Farmers Market Pavilion Campaign.

    Greetings from your SAC Newsletter editor. 

    Sorry but I have not had much time for a newsletter these past few months.Please consider running for next years council. I for one will be leaving and if you have any HTML skills they will be deeply in need of someone to take care of the website and newsletter for the next year. Please nominate someone even if they don't have HTML skills as we need good people with great ideas to share. You get to work with great people too.

    Staff Advisory Council meetings are open to all UM System Staff. Meeting times are 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. the second Friday of the month. The location of each meeting changes, so contact a council
    member if you are interested in attending.
