UM Staff Advisory Council was
formed to provide two-way communication between staff and the
President on pertinent issues. If you have comments
or questions about any subject related to UM System staff, please contact
one of your Council members. They are there for you!
Words from the ChairGreetings to all UM Staff! Brief report on numbers in attendance and food collection. In July 2008, Staff Advisory Council will conduct its annual election of new members on the council. You will receive a blast email in June notifying you of this nomination. This year, we have three vacancies. One position is in the administrative/professional category, which is a three-year term. Two positions are in the service/support category, also three-year terms. If you know of someone who would like to be a part of Staff Advisory Council, please consider nominating that person. If you are interested in being a part of SAC, self-nominations are always welcome and encouraged. You can make a difference! I would like to take this opportunity to extend a sincere thank you again to President Forsee and his staff for supporting Staff Recognition Week 2008. I also want to express my genuine appreciation to SAC members for making SRW work so well. Hours of planning, preparation, and implementation went into this year's events. Without their tireless work, the week would not have been such a wonderful success. Thank You all for supporting the food collection for Central Missouri Food Bank. A letter from the food bank is found on SRW website that thanks us and lets us know how appreciative they are for all means of help. Warm regards, |
