UM Staff Advisory Council (SAC) Newsletter
Welcome from the President

Dear Members of the University of Missouri Community:
I encourage each of you to participate in this year’s Staff Recognition
Week, to be held the week of May 16th. We are happy to recognize the
important role each of you plays in helping to advance the quality and
mission of the state’s great public research university.
We recognize that the commitment and dedication of our staff members
are the foundations upon which excellence is built. To that end, I invite
you to learn more about how our University is exceeding expectations
with its record of excellence by visiting http://www.umsystem.edu/ums/departments/gr/events/talking.shtml.
Such outstanding milestones certainly could not be achieved without
all that you do on our behalf.
The impact that the University of Missouri makes on the lives of Missourians
is attributable to the dedication and vision that each of you brings
to your workplace every day. Thank you for all that you have done and
continue to do for the University of Missouri. I look forward to seeing
you during Staff Recognition Week!
Sincerely,
Elson S. Floyd, Ph.D.
