UM Staff Advisory Council Members 2006-2007

Words from the Chair

Greetings!

I want to thank all of the UM System staff who participated in our recent food drive. Not only did we collect 498 pounds of food, we also collected monetary contributions in the amount of $349. For every $1 collected, the Central Missouri Food Bank (CMFB) will be able to furnish 20 lbs. of food to those less fortunate. That is just amazing!

Staff Recognition Week (SRW) is starting to take form. We have scheduled the week of May 14th for this year's festivities. Trivial Pursuit will be held on May 15th at the Forum Boulevard Christian Church. The Staff Appreciation Luncheon will be held on May 16th at the Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center. The Staff Picnic will be held on May 18th at Twin Lakes Park. All activities are scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. unless otherwise noted. On-line registration will be posted soon to the UM SAC website so stay tuned. Also, don't forget to nominate that deserving staff member for one of the staff awards this year!

Our next scheduled meeting is Friday, March 9th, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 205, MOREnet. As always, we welcome your comments, questions, and suggestions. We are here for YOU!

Warm regards, Rusty

P.S. Don't forget to adjust your clocks and "spring-forward" this weekend.

UM SAC Chair Rusty Crawford

In addition, staff celebrating their 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversaries will be noted during the program. Staff celebrating their 25th anniversary will be rewarded with a special memento. Those celebrating their 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, and 50th year anniversaries will be recognized with plaques at the luncheon.
