Greetings to all UM Staff!


2008 UM Staff Recognition Week  is just days away.  If you have not signed up for activities of the week…………today is the day!  Go to http://sac.umsystem.edu/signup.shtml immediately, as we are finalizing our counts with various vendors.  Everyone is encouraged to attend activities.  The President and the Vice Presidents of UM System provid funding for the week to say Thank You for your dedication and service to the University of Missouri.

On-line registration for this year's activities is available until Tuesday, May 6.  Trivia Teams have until May 9, 2008 to finalize their teams.  If you experience any glitches in signup, please call 882-3400 immediately.  A registration list on the UM SAC website has been included for your convenience.  You can click http://sac.umsystem.edu/SRW/UMSYSEmployeecount.pdf to verify the activities you have registered for …..name, department, meal preference, etc.  Please call if we have posted information incorrect.

You are always welcome to join us at our Staff Advisory Council meetings.  Our next scheduled meeting is Friday, May 9, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. in the 225 U Hall Conference Room.  As always, we welcome your comments, questions, and suggestions.  We are here for YOU!

Thank You UM Staff Breakfast

Thank You UM Staff Breakfast will kick off our week with a breakfast at 118 University Hall on Monday, May 12.  In addition to the Thank You breakfast, you will be eligible to win prizes at this breakfast by donating a canned food (or multiple) item to Central Missouri Food Bank.  Your food item donation will qualify you to be in a drawing taking place at the morning breakfast (7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.).

If you are celebrating a 5-10-15-20 year anniversary, you will be recognized at the luncheon.  Those achieving milestones of 25-30-35-40 years of service will also be recognized at the luncheon.

Staff Advisory Council meetings are open to all UM System Staff. Meeting times are 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. the second Friday of the month. The location of each meeting changes, so contact a council
