UM Staff Advisory Council was formed to provide two-way communication between staff and the President on pertinent issues. If you have comments or questions about any subject related to UM System staff, please contact one of your Council members. They are there for you!
I would like to announce that Becky Bohlmeyer will be the new UM-SAC Chairperson starting October 13, 2005. Remember to turn in your pledge cards for United Way. I would like to thank everyone that worked at the Food Bank on September 30, 2005 for Day of Caring. My year has come and gone as Chairperson for UM-SAC. I would like to say that each UM Employee is a very big part of the University. I would also like to thank each of you for all you do for the University of Missouri. Lets all work together and try to make the University the best it can be.

The UM System United Way Campaign for 2005 is under way and the Fund Raiser the Marketing Committee has planned for this year is a Trivia Night, October 13 th , 6:30pm-9:30pm. Bring your own snacks or dinner and the game will begin at 7:00pm. There will also be a cash bar for beverages. This should be a lot of fun as well as a great opportunity to contribute to the United Way . We will have 20 tables set up for teams of 6-8 players. You can sign up full teams or if you just have a couple of people (or even just yourself) who want to play, we can put you on a team that is not yet full. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased from Donna Barnes, 807 Lewis Hall, or Karen Borgers, 215 University Hall, or at the door. If you are planning to pay at the door be sure to check with Donna or Karen to be sure there are still tickets available! Bring your mate or your best friends and come play with us!
